Ranch Experiences

Saddle up, partner!

Our ranch experiences empower guests to get their hands dirty, step outside their comfort zones, and experience day-to-day life on a working ranch.

What to BrinG

Close-toed shoes

For our horseback riding experiences, we require that all participants wear close-toed shoes. We recommend close-toed shoes for all other experiences on the ranch as well. Bring shoes you don't mind getting dirty!

Hat and sunscreen

All our experiences are in the great outdoors. Bring a hat and sunscreen.

Food and water

Stay hydrated as you enjoy life on the ranch. Bring your water bottle to refill with our filtered water, and snacks during your ranch adventures.

We have answers.

What experiences are included with my ranch stay?

Some of our experiences are available at an additional cost, and some are included but do require a sign-up. Experiences are not guaranteed to be available, and you’ll receive a link to book experiences after making your house reservation.

Will there be other guests during my stay?

Guests staying at the ranch also have the opportunity to sign up for all activities, so if your group does not have both houses reserved, you might share some of your experiences with other guests. If you have a large group and would like your own private ranch experience, we do offer exclusive rentals.  Contact us to learn more about weddings, large group rentals, corporate retreats, and other great event rentals.

Are kids allowed in the barn or around animals?

Because we are working ranch with horses, cattle, and other large animals, kids must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Can we bring bikes for the kids?

You are more than welcome to bring bikes. There are service roads you can ride on and miles of open trails for mountain biking. Helmets are required but are not provided.

Is there fishing on the ranch?

At this time, we don't have any fishing opportunities on the ranch.

Do you have a pool on the ranch?

Guests will have access to our section of the tree-lined San Benito River, which is great for some splashing, exploring, and water fun. If you rent the Ranch House, you will also have access to its pool (the pool is not heated, and we do not have a hot tub) and pool house. Please note that by making a reservation and agreeing to our terms and conditions, you are signing our pool waiver, and adult supervision of children is required at all times.

How close is the ranch to Pinnacles National Park?

We are 6 miles (12 minutes) from the east entrance of Pinnacles National Park.
